ハンドメイドのセラミックレーベルSHOKKIの作品集。本書は、雑誌「TOO MUCH Magazine」9号の発売を記念して開催されたSHOKKIの展覧会「108 Ways of Entering Nirvana」にあわせて刊行されたもの。

「聖なるもの」を特集した9号の中で、美術家の横尾忠則が語る「聖と俗」の関係や横尾氏が所有する膨大な数の涅槃像に感銘を受け、TOO MUCH MagazineとSHOKKIは108体の涅槃像を制作。本書では、本展にて展示された108体の涅槃像を収録されています。また、釉薬が施される前の素地をあらわにした状態の作品が掲載され、会場では知ることのできないプリミティブな姿を見ることができます。

A collection of works featuring 108 Nirvana statues by SHOKKI, inspired by artist Tadanori Yokoo’s discussion of the relationship between the sacred and the secular, as well as the vast number of Nirvana statues in his possession, as featured in Issue 9 of TOO MUCH Magazine, which focuses on “the sacred.”
