写真家、小野陽平の作品集。2026年2月にニコンサロン新宿で開催された展覧会にあわせて刊行されたもの。絶えず変化する都市の風景にも感じる既視感がどのようにして立ち上がってくるのかを捉える一冊。特定の場所性を強調せず、見たことがある気がする景観や、記憶の底に沈んでいるような場所を求めて、関東近郊の都市周縁部を中心に撮影された写真を収録しています。風景がいつ、どこから、どのようにして風景になるのか。その曖昧な輪郭を、なるべくそのまま写真に収めようとする試みです。ブックデザインと製本は、グラフィックデザイナーの松田洋和によるもの。

Urban landscapes are supposed to be in constant flux, yet at times they merge with scenes held in one's memory and appear as something already seen.

Through land readjustment and redevelopment, urban spaces are increasingly standardized. As a result, they come to share familiar configurations and expressions, blurring the boundaries of time and place.

In this series, I attempt to grasp how such a sense of deja vu comes into being. Rather than emphasizing specific locations, I photographed areas on the urban periphery of the Greater Tokyo region—places that feel faintly familiar or seem to lie dormant at the bottom of memory. I try to photograph these landscapes while preserving their ambiguity, asking when, where, and through what processes a place begins to be perceived as a landscape.
