ACTIVATING Common Ground コモングラウンドの活性化

2025大阪・関西万博における、オランダパビリオン文化プログラムの公式雑誌として刊行されたもの。日本とオランダ両国の過去、現在、未来の関係性を万博という文脈を通してまとめながら、文化プログラムのテーマ、プログラムの案内所ともなっています。編集はStudio The Future、デザインはオランダ人デザイナーのマリウス・シュワルツ（Marius Schwarz）と日本人デザイナー岡崎真理子（Reflecta, Inc.）が担当。本文は上下逆さに日英テキストが掲載されており、右綴じとして開くと日本語テキストが、左綴じとして開くと英語テキストが読める仕様となっています。付属のステッカーで、表紙のカスタマイズも楽しめる一冊。

This is the official publication for the Netherlands Pavilion's cultural program at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. Examining the past, present, and future of the relationship between Japan and the Netherlands through the lens of the Expo, the publication also serves as a comprehensive guide to the themes and events of the cultural program. The design is a collaboration between Dutch designer Marius Schwarz and Japanese designer Mariko Okazaki (Reflecta, Inc.). The publication features a unique format. The Japanese and English texts are printed upside down in relation to one another; opening the book from the right-hand cover reveals the Japanese text, while the English text is read by opening it from the left. An accompanying sheet of stickers allows readers to customize their own cover, making each copy a unique object.
