写真家・木村和平（Kazuhei Kimura）の作品集。赤々舎より刊行された本作『石と桃』は、作者が幼少期より抱えてきた「不思議の国のアリス症候群」という特異な知覚体験をきっかけに、近年制作を続けてきた同名シリーズをまとめた一冊。

物の大きさが極端に歪んだり、時間と空間が伸縮するなど、視覚に異常はないにもかかわらず、知覚に歪みが生じるとされる「不思議の国のアリス症候群」。『石と桃』というタイトルは、作者が突発的に知覚する「硬質でモノトーンなもの」と「鮮やかで柔らかいもの」が混ざり合うイメージを言葉にしたものです。本書は同シリーズの作品を多数収録し、その独自の知覚を出発点として描かれた光景を、鑑賞者の手元に物理的な体験として再び引き寄せます。手に持ったときの触感や、物理的な質感を錯覚させるような鮮やかな印刷など、写真集の印刷、造本もその特異な存在感を際立たせています。ブックデザインは宮添浩司によるもの。

巻末には、2022年2月、2023年3月、2024年1月、2025年8月と、それぞれの時期に記された本作に関する作家による記述を記録したシートを収録。

This monograph by photographer Kazuhei Kimura is published by Akaaka Art Publishing. Ishi to Momo (Stone and Peach) compiles a series of the same name that Kimura has developed in recent years, sparked by his unique perceptual experiences caused by 'Alice in Wonderland Syndrome', a condition he has lived with since childhood.

Alice in Wonderland Syndrome is characterised by perceptual distortions—such as objects appearing extremely warped in size, or the expansion and contraction of time and space—occurring despite the absence of any abnormalities in visual function. The title Ishi to Momo articulates the recurring imagery Kimura perceives: an intermingling of 'hard, monotone objects' and 'vivid, soft textures'. Through a comprehensive collection of works from this series, the book translates scenes born from this distinct perception into a physical experience for the viewer. The publication's singular presence is further heightened by its printing and binding, from the tactile quality when held to the vivid reproduction that evokes an illusion of physical texture. Book design is by Koji Miyazoe.

Included at the end of the book is a sheet recording the artist’s writings on the work, dated February 2022, March 2023, January 2024, and August 2025 respectively.
