DOMINIE-WERK No. 26, created as a response to Brutalist ideology in collaboration with the Singaporean printing company Dominie Press.
It features a grid of holes that replicates fair-faced concrete, while layers of ink are printed upon the paper, and the book is even bound shut along its fore-edge. This work, which could be called a book or simply a block of paper, has all of its 640 bound pages overprinted with black ink. As an object of paper and ink, it reproduces the title 'BÉTON BRUT' (raw concrete) in the form of the materials themselves. A conceptual volume that presents the essence of Brutalism through a tactile experience.
