All horses are the same colour

エストニア芸術大学のグラフィックデザイン修士課程1年生による、初期のリサーチ関心を反映した執筆集。指導にあたったアーティスト、ライターのリーフェン・ラハイェ（Lieven Lahaye）の1週間にわたるワークショップを通じて制作されました。KFCのトイレブラシといった卑近なオブジェから、デジタル空間におけるアバターの存在論、さらには市場のタイポグラフィといった都市の景観まで、多岐にわたるテーマを通して日常的な断片から複雑な社会構造を読み解くグラフィックデザイナーの視点を浮き彫りにしています。

"Parts make up a body, the ringing of bells directs attention, the toilet brushes from KFC collect cultural residue, a series of gaps create the possibility of an alternate reality, avatars lead lives otherwise impossible, the signs at a market form a typeface, excavations reanimate the ghost and a pile of rocks becomes a portal to understanding.”

A book of student writing, reflecting the starting research interests of the first-year MA graphic design students at the Estonian Academy of Arts, Tallinn. The writing is supervised during a week-long workshop with Lieven Lahaye.
