ノルウェー出身のビジュアルアーティスト、エリーネ・ベンヤミンセン（Eline Benjaminsen）と、オランダおよびオーストラリアを拠点に活動するアーティスト兼グラフィックデザイナーのデイナ・ケイシー（Dayna Casey）による作品集。

本作『Collapsed Mythologies: A Geofinancial Atlas』は、現代の金融資本主義が用いる独自の言語を視覚的な地図（アトラス）として編纂した一冊です。高度に抽象化されたシステムであるはずの金融業界において、専門家たちは驚くほど多くの「自然」や「動物」のモチーフを用いています。大口投資家を指す「クジラ（Whale）」、匿名性の高い取引を指す「ダークプール（Dark Pool）」、急成長企業を指す「ユニコーン（Unicorn）」など、彼らはまるで生態系や神話のような言葉を自らの言語に用いています。

二人の作家は、こうした用語が持つ意味と、それらが参照する生態学的な世界とのあいだに、豊かな神話的歴史を見い出します。トレーダーをはじめとする金融業界の専門家たちが用いるスラングを紐解き、私たちの現実の生態系を物質的かつ暴力的に形作っている、不条理で（超）自然的な「虚構」を明らかにします。

The realm of finance has its own eco-logics.
