『GAP』は、出版活動を行う〈Goods〉〈Aohata〉〈pharmacy〉の3団体によって協働してつくられたシール帳です。協働に際し、古物を扱う〈Goods〉が所有するワレモノ、買付や催事のための輸送中に破損した欠片を集め、それぞれの拠点である東京・大阪・福岡をリレーしてイメージを膨らませることから始め、制作を進めました。詩人、劇作家であるデレック・ウォルコットの言葉に導かれながら、破片を文字に見立て、AからZ、0から9をシールとして複製し、本書はそれらを含めた多種なシールで構成されています。リング製本でシールと再剥離用紙が綴られ、読者は実際にアルファベットを、あるいはかつての陶器の破片、イメージの断片を、自由に組み合わせて遊ぶことができます。デレック・ウォルコットが説くのは、かたちを失った断片を再び寄せ集めることの尊さについて。『GAP』はその断片が新たに役割を得られる可能性について話しています。本書は「TOKIO ART BOOK FAIR 2025」においての合同出展をきっかけに出版をされました。


GAP is a sticker book made through a collaboration between three publishing labels: Goods, Aohata, and pharmacy.

The project began with a collection of broken fragments—pieces of fragile items from the shop, Goods, damaged during transport. This collection then served as the catalyst for a relay between their respective bases in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, allowing the concept to evolve. Guided by the words of poet and playwright Derek Walcott, the fragments were reimagined as characters. These were then reproduced as sticker sets of A to Z and 0 to 9. The book is composed of these alphabetic and numeric sets, alongside a diverse collection of other images.

The ring-bound book, which interleaves the stickers with peelable backing sheets, invites the reader to play—to freely combine the alphabet, the shards of former pottery, and the fragments of images. Derek Walcott speaks to the nobility of reassembling fragments that have lost their form. GAP, in turn, explores the potential for these fragments to acquire a new purpose.

This book was published to coincide with the collectives' joint exhibition at the TOKIO ART BOOK FAIR 2025.

〈Goods〉は、百科事典や世界史には収録されないすべての「その他」を収集しています。並行してアートブックの出版や、家具やジュエリーをはじめとしたマーチャンダイズ制作を行い、そうした古物を手がかりにした新たなアイテムを広義に「レプリカ」と位置付けています。
