韓国・ソウルを拠点に、グラフィックデザインを中心に主流とは異なるトレンドや事象に光を当てるデザイン誌『GRAPHIC』。スポンサーや政府機関からの資金援助も受けず、常に独立したジャーナリズムを貫くインディペンデントマガジンです。

第51号の特集は、「アートブックフェア」。本書は、歴史ある大規模なフェアから近年始まった小規模なものまで、世界30以上の主催者を招き、それぞれのフェアが持つ思想や課題、出展者の特徴、さらには資金調達の方法といったリアルな舞台裏までを、主催者自身の言葉で語ります。これほど包括的にアートブックフェアの現状をまとめた資料は非常に稀であり、現代の出版文化が置かれた状況を多角的に理解するための、貴重なドキュメントです。
