「もの派」を代表するアーティスト、菅木志雄の作品集。1997年から98年にかけて広島市現代美術館、伊丹市立美術館、神奈川県民ホールギャラリー、千葉市美術館を巡回した展覧会の図録として刊行されました。1960年代後半から1997年11月までの制作を1年ごとにまとめ、その年の展覧会の記録と主要な作品を掲載。30年の制作のあゆみを概観することができます。美術評論家、峯村敏明によるエッセイのほか、千葉市美術館学芸員の藁科英也と菅木志雄の対話を収録しています。

A collection of works by Kishio Suga, a leading artist of the "Mono-ha" movement. This is the exhibition catalogue for his retrospective tour that traveled to the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, Itami City Museum of Art, Kanagawa Kenmin Hall Gallery, and Chiba City Museum of Art between 1997 and 1998.
The book organizes his creative output from the late 1960s through November 1997 on a year-by-year basis, featuring records of exhibitions and major works from each period. In addition to an essay by art critic Toshiaki Minemura, it includes a dialogue between Hideya Warashina (curator at the Chiba City Museum of Art) and Kishio Suga.
