写真家、蜷川実花（Mika Ninagawa）の作品集。東京を流れる目黒川の桜を捉えた一冊。本作では、2010年の春、この川面に散りゆく桜の姿を約3時間撮影し続けた写真が一冊にまとめられています。作家の代名詞であった極彩色の表現は影を潜め、本作に収められているのは、移ろう時間の中で静かに散っていく花びらと、生と隣り合わせにある静寂や儚さです。

A photobook by photographer Mika Ninagawa, capturing the cherry blossoms of the Meguro River in Tokyo. This publication brings together photographs taken over a continuous three-hour period in the spring of 2010, documenting the blossoms as they scattered across the river's surface. Moving away from the highly saturated, vivid palettes that have long been synonymous with her practice, this work encapsulates the quiet ephemerality of petals falling in the passage of time, and the stillness that exists alongside life.
