2000年以降に制作された、様々な芸術、文化プログラムで制作されたポスターシリーズについての研究をまとめた作品集。美術館と文化芸術機関での連続したポスターを特集した前作『Systems of Poster Series 1』に続く本書では、フェスティバル、公演、芸術プロジェクトなど、より流動的で協業的なプログラムの現場で登場したポスターシリーズに焦点を当てています。

スルギ・アンド・ミン（Sulki and Min）が2008年から2013年にかけてデザインを手がけた芸術祭「Festival Bo:n」のポスターシリーズや、Every Move Counts (EMC)が2009年から現在まで続けるソウルアートブックフェア「Unlimited Edition」のビジュアルなど、2000年以降各地域で製作された芸術・文化プログラムのポスターシリーズをアーカイブ形式で収集・整理。シリーズでのデザインアプローチ、デザイン構造、そしてデザイナーとプログラム企画者とのコラボレーション関係を分析しながら、継続的なグラフィックデザインにおいて、それぞれのシリーズが即興性と連続性の間でどのようなバランスをとるのか探ります。

This publication presents a comprehensive study of poster series created for various art and cultural programmes since 2000. Following the previous volume, Systems of Poster Series 1, which featured sequential posters for museums and cultural institutions, this book focuses on poster series that have emerged in more fluid and collaborative environments, such as festivals, performances, and art projects.

It collects and organises, in an archival format, poster series for art and cultural programmes produced across different regions since 2000. These include the poster series for the arts festival Festival Bo:n, designed by Sulki and Min between 2008 and 2013, and the visual identity for Seoul Art Book Fair Unlimited Edition, which Every Move Counts (EMC) has been producing continuously since 2009. By analysing the design approaches, structural frameworks within the series, and the collaborative relationships between designers and programme organisers, the book explores how each series strikes a balance between improvisation and continuity within ongoing graphic design practices.
