シンガポールを拠点に活動するデザイナー、テセウス・チャン（Theseus Chan）が発行する雑誌『WERK』創刊25周年を記念して制作された第35号。コム・デ・ギャルソン、森山大道、田名網敬一、シュタイデルなど、これまでさまざまなアーティストやブランドと協働し制作を続けてきたWERKのイメージの断片と、カナダ人アーティスト、エドワード・ゴス（Edward Goss）による特別寄稿によって制作された特別な一冊。本書は、意図的に製本されていない状態で刊行されており、折り畳まれた各ページは、順番に読むことも、広げて一枚のポスターとして鑑賞することも、あるいは自由に並べ替えることもできます。断裁も製本も、決まった順序もありません。一部ずつ手作業で丁合されており、二つとして同じものはなく、本書は未完のまま、読者による変化や介入の余地を残しています。このラディカルな形式は、芸術が生まれるプロセスそのものが持つ「未完結性」を物語っています。すべてのコピーが少しずつ異なり、読者の手に渡ってもなお「未完」であり続ける本作は、変化や解釈に対して常に開かれているWERKの態度そのものを示唆しています。300部限定。テセウス・チャンによるサイン入り、サインなしの2種からお選びいただけます。

WERK No.35 marks the 25th commemorative issue of the magazine. It is presented as a book in an unbound state. This is intentional. Each folded signature opens into a full-spread poster, allowing the content to be read in multiple ways. No trimming. No binding. No fixed order. Just folds, ink, and space for thought. Every copy is hand-collated. No two are alike. The work remains unresolved. Open to change. Open to interruption. The format speaks to the unfinished nature of artistic process. With a special contribution by Edward Goss, this issue continues the spirit of WERK as a publication that resists closure. Always searching. Always in process. Always unfinished.
