スイスを拠点に活動するデザイナーで建築家のナターシャ・クリムスカヤ（Natasha Krymskaya）による、東ヨーロッパの「ジョイント（接合部）」に焦点を当てた作品集。

本書が記録するのは、専門家ではない人々が、日々の必要性に迫られて生み出した、自発的で独創的な修繕や構造物。しばしば間に合わせや一時的な解決策として作られたものが、時間とともにその場に馴染み、永続的な風景の一部となっています。本書では、写真の対向頁に簡略化した図面、またこれらが記録された場所を経緯度で記録。歴史的に手仕事と結びついてきた東ヨーロッパのクラフトマンシップの伝統を反映しながら、日常の景色をつくる市井の人々の工夫と美学に光を当てています。

CAMP is collaborative architectural practice, focused on material culture, technologies and space research. It explores migrating notions within culture : everyday practices and emerging space strategies.
